Allison Macfarlane, former chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, is a co-author of the “Path Forward for Nuclear Waste in the U.S.” She discusses the report, including establishing an independent corporation, called NuCorp, to handle nuclear waste storage implementation and an independent advisory committee to oversee the corporation.
